TERMS OF SERVICE

FLEX & RESTORE REHABILITATIVE MASSAGE THERAPY

By booking and receiving services with Flex & Restore Rehabilitative Massage Therapy, you agree to the following terms:

1. Nature of Services

All massage and bodywork services provided are strictly non-sexual, professional therapeutic treatments intended to support health, rehabilitation, and relaxation. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session and full payment will still be required.

2. Health Information & Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information.

• You agree to update us on any changes in your health, medical conditions, injuries, or medications before your session.

• Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have a specific medical concern, consult with your GP or healthcare provider.

3. Consent to Treatment

By proceeding with services, you consent to therapeutic massage techniques that may involve physical touch. All treatments are provided with professional boundaries and respect. You may request adjustments or stop the session at any time.

4. Scope of Practice

Flex and Restore therapists are certified and insured to provide massage therapy within the scope of practice defined by local laws. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or offer chiropractic or physiotherapy services.

5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.

• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will incur a 50% fee.

• No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.

Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or illness at our discretion.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept payment by internet banking at time of service. Credit card payments can only be made at time of booking. Late payments may incur fees. If you have a prepaid package or voucher, cancellations or missed sessions may result in deduction from your balance.

7. Confidentiality

All personal and health information shared is kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) or applicable local law. Your information will never be shared without your written consent unless required by law.

8. Minors

Clients under 16 years old must have a parent or legal guardian present for the session and must provide written consent.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, behaves inappropriately, or poses a risk to the therapist or themselves.

10. Liability Disclaimer

By receiving massage therapy services, you agree to release Flex & Restore and its staff from any liability for injuries or conditions that may arise as a result of the session, unless due to gross negligence.
