SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The journey through pregnancy and motherhood is both an exciting and challenging time. Post-Natal Rehabilitation Care is designed to support you every step of the way. Programme includes 8 x 45 minute customised sessions. This service focuses on rebuilding strength, restoring balance, and helping you move freely and comfortably during this transformative stage. Post-Natal Rehabilitation Care Helps With: • Recovery from childbirth: Helps restore function, strength, and mobility after childbirth, including pelvic floor rehabilitation and abdominal healing. • Core and pelvic floor rehabilitation: A specialised focus on regaining strength and control of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles that may be weakened or overstretched during pregnancy and birth. • Postural alignment and muscle rebalancing: Addresses changes in posture and muscle imbalances that can occur post-pregnancy. • Strengthening and toning: Rebuilds strength, particularly in the core and pelvic region, while improving mobility and flexibility to help you feel strong, healthy, and energised. Techniques Used: This rehabilitation care incorporates evidence-based exercise, manual therapy, and pelvic health exercises to support your recovery. I design a personalised program tailored to your specific needs - whether you’re in your second trimester, recovering from childbirth, or managing symptoms such as diastasis recti (abdominal separation) or pelvic pain. You’ll receive gentle and effective care, with a focus on restoring balance and function while prioritising your comfort and well-being. About Your Therapist: As a mother and Clinical Exercise Physiologist with specialised training in pre and postnatal care, I understand the complexities and unique challenges that come with pregnancy and childbirth. I offer a compassionate, holistic approach that focuses on healing, rehabilitation, and preventing long-term discomfort. My goal is to help you regain your strength, improve your posture, and guide you through a healthy, supported recovery journey so you can feel confident in your body again.
