SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Programming is designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and perform at your best. Programmes include 8 x 45 minute customised sessions. This specialised service focuses on creating individualised programmes tailored to your unique needs, to prevent injuries, recover effectively, and return to your activities with confidence. It Helps With: • Injury prevention: Strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance movement patterns to reduce the risk of injury during physical activities. • Post-injury recovery: Accelerate the rehabilitation process with customised exercise plans and techniques to restore function and mobility. • Chronic pain management: Address long-standing injuries or pain conditions, such as joint or muscle issues, with targeted rehab programs to manage and alleviate discomfort. • Performance enhancement: Improve strength, endurance, and flexibility to optimise your athletic performance while reducing the chance of setbacks or re-injury. • Post-surgical rehabilitation: Support recovery from surgeries (e.g., ACL repair, rotator cuff surgery) with specific exercises to rebuild strength and mobility. Techniques & Approach: Using a combination of evidence-based therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional movement training, each programme is designed to restore balance and function to your body. The focus is on safe, controlled movements that improve strength, flexibility, and endurance while also correcting dysfunctional movement patterns. Your program will be adjusted based on your current injury status, goals, and progress, with regular reassessments to ensure optimal results. Whether you’re recovering from a specific injury or simply want to reduce your risk of future problems, I'll support you through every stage of healing, from acute recovery to full functional restoration. About Your Therapist: As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with specialised training in rehabilitation, I work with you to develop a personalised plan that aligns with your body’s unique needs. My approach considers both the injury and the body as a whole to ensure proper recovery and long-term injury prevention. By addressing both the root causes and the effects of injury, I empower you to take control of your recovery and performance so you can return to doing what you love, pain-free and stronger than before.
